This game is not the norm. There is a lot of information to take in and then relate into development of your character. There are many choices though, so don't base your character on this example. The example below is but one way to build a character and we hope that it's presence will help make the character development process go more smoothly for you.

Elevations and Descensions:

You get two free, and may take up to five. Each one after the 2nd must be balanced by an equal number of descension points. We decide we're only taking 4 elevations, which means we need two points in descensions for this character.

Elevations: Ambidexterity ( 1 Point ), Danger Sense ( 2 Points ), Lucky ( 1 Point )

Descensions: Magically Declined ( -2 points )

Wild Talents:

We are limited to two Wild talent Choices usually. There is an Elevation that would allow us to alter this, but we chose not to take that. We select the following...

Key Master

Safe Keeping

These two wild talents should serve us well for what we have planned for our write-up/background story.

Professional / Skills Sets: Petty Criminal (Which we must define further in our write up for it to be accepted)

Mechanic (We will make sure to include our area of primary mechanical knowledge in the write up)

Guns (This one is fairly obvious. Unless we'd also chosen some military background skills, this will be standard guns and rifles)

Here is where we put it all together.

Never met my Mom, was told about her though. I think the term was, "some junkie who lost her kids to negligence." Oh well, her loss.

I was moved around in the state system quite a bit. I was actually adopted twice, and then surrendered back to the state for petty crime. My "parents" would say they couldn't control me, medications didn't seem to help either.

By 13, I was also a pretty fair mechanic, hot wiring was my specialty. I would "borrow" cars and take friends out for joy rides, it was pretty cool until I got busted for it. I would spend the next 4 years in a reform school, now that wasn't too cool.

When I got out I didn't have anyone or anything to depend on. So I gave a couple old friends a call. Seems a few had moved into the chop shop business. Well, you have to work with what you know. The money was good and I was good, been doing it for two years now. Also ran a few gun deliveries, lotsa cash in those.

Everything comes to an end. It must have been a sting operation, or maybe we'd worked to long in the same area. The mustang seemed to call me, it was a $500 payday. I didn't know "the man" was a block over and the thing had a blackhawk alarm. The alarm on the car went off and the police siren began to wail. I hit the accelerator and flew down the street. I made a series of turns and ran into the back of a delivery truck when I tried to run the red light.

I got out of the car, I was dizzy and my head hurt, I must have had a concussion. I made it across the street and around the corner before anyone could stop me. I don't know what happened, but when I turned that corner, it was like my whole life was turned as well. The sirens were gone. The building was different. Everything was quiet. I felt liked I'd run a marathon. I am not really sure where I am now, but I do feel a little better. The heat is off, but I am in the middle of no where. Things seem a little strange here, but maybe it's my chance to finally start over and make a name for myself...maybe.

Some generalized things about me:
1) I work well with my hands.
2) I have tried to take wild talents that will enable me to continue my trade.
3) I really don't believe in magic, and I'm not too smart, so that should be hard for me to do.
4) I have a sixth sense about things, and although things often go wrong, something usually breaks my way and keeps the very worst from happening.
